Below is a screen shot showing the router and IP Address that keep coming up. It will display the MAC address, the IP Adrdress, and. Wondering if there was some hard coded gateway/DHCP server from the previous owner/ISP. If your bridge is on your network, the link should bring up a page that will look like the image below. Physical connectivity is green, but no IP connectivity. I’ve even tried manually assigning the Gateway, Subnet Mask and Mac’s IP with the same results. I have tried everything I know to change the default Gateway (both in Network Preferences and via Command Line but nothing has worked. The result was no internet connectivity thru the wire. The Mac (in Network Preferences) showed a connection, however the Gateway was a different Class C subnet than my home network and the IP address assigned was also in that subnet. This will output the following: prem netstat -nr grep default default 192.168.2.2 UGSc 50 46 en1 In this example, again, 192.168.2.2 is your default gateway. I decided to try it with a wired connection so I bought a USB-C to Ethernet adapter and plugged my home network into it. I have been using it extensively on WiFi and everything has been fine. I have a 2019 MacBook Pro that I bought second hand.
